Our Mission and Values
Being able to create positive, engaging experiences is a passion that resonates with Ryan Blackwell and his family's efforts as they strive to combat "the real battle field within," and make an impact through, The Ryan Blackwell Foundation.
Ryan was awarded the Purple Heart for wounds received while serving in the United States Navy. He sustained six gunshot wounds during the 2019 terrorist attack aboard Naval Air Station Pensacola.
Through intense recovery, determined to overcome his injuries, Ryan leaned on his passion for health and wellness. Engaging in various leisure and recreational outlets played a pivotal role in his mental well-being, providing a peace of mind, a clear vision and a realization of the need to provide those very opportunities to others.
